ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A small privately-owned plane crashed at the Rochester International Airport on Sunday.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says a small Cessna plane owned by the Rochester Air Center was getting ready to land around 11 a.m. when its wing struck the ground. Deputies say two people were on board and that the plane was being used for flying lessons.
The plane sustained minimal damage and no injuries were reported.
As standard procedure, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating the crash.
