SPENCERPORT, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Spencerport man pleaded guilty to receipt of child porn.
Michael Greco, 25, believed he was engaged in the online prostitution of a 13-year-old girl by her mother. But the “mother” he was communicating with was actually an undercover New York State Police investigator.
During the conversation, Greco agreed to pay $100 to abuse the child.
When he arrived at the pre-arranged location on Jan. 7, 2020, he was arrested. He had $100, condoms and candy in his possession at the time.
A search of his phone revealed that he attempted to receive child porn online.
Greco is scheduled to be sentenced on April 13.
He faces a minimum of five years in prison, a maximum of 20 years in prison, a lifetime of supervised release and a $250,000 fine.
