ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Three people were shot in a vehicle near Sumner Park and Monroe Avenue in Rochester Monday night.
Officers arrived on scene around 7 p.m. and found two city residents who had been sitting in a car — a 31-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman — with gunshot wounds to their upper bodies.
Around the same time, an 18-year-old arrived at Strong Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds that police determined occurred at the same scene.
A window at the Plum House restaurant on the corner of Oxford Street and Monroe Avenue was hit by gunfire, but police say no one inside was injured.
Investigators say the 31-year-old man is in critical condition, and the other two suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say no arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
