Troopers: Men facing gun, drug charges after traffic stop

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— New York State Troopers say two men, including a Hamlin man, are facing drug and gun charges after they were pulled over on Clifford Avenue in the City of Rochester Saturday.

Police say 40-year-old Chez Purrier had a loaded unregistered .40 caliber Glock on him. He was charged with three criminal possession of weapon charges. Purrier is a three-time convicted felon, though troopers did not say what his original charges were for.

Troopers say Purrier’s passenger, Jaivon Fitts, had Oxycodone on him and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled. Both are awaiting arraignment in the Monroe County Jail.
