ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — President Donald Trump mentioned the couple viciously attacked outside of a store in Rochester during his speech Monday night.

Police are still searching for the group of men responsible.

It happened outside the Rochester Fire Equipment Company on Monroe Avenue on Saturday Afternoon, and several people caught it on camera.

News10NBC spoke to one of those people.

He says the man and woman were beaten by looters.

The President mentioned the attack when talking about the violence around the country.

"Innocent people have been savagely beaten, like the young man in Dallas, Texas, who was left dying on the street, or the woman in Upstate New York, dangerously attacked by dangerous thugs," Trump said.
