GATES, N.Y. (WHEC) — Two people are facing multiple drug charges after police say they seized more than $20,000 and narcotics from a home in Gates.
Officers arrested Abe Robinson, 62, and Shaundell Lawhorn, 41, Monday in connection to a drug sales incident on Buffalo Road, which led to the execution of a warrant at a home on Silverlight Way.
Gates Police allege Robinson and Lawhorn were involved in a drug sale behind a business on Buffalo Road when an officer interrupted them.
During the search warrant, investigators seized approximately $22,000 and the following drugs:
Officers also discovered a shotgun in the home, which violates Robinson's predicate felon status. They also seized a 2020 and 2013 Cadillac Escalade.
Robinson and Lawhorn are each facing 13 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree.
Officers also charged Robinson with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, criminal possession of marijuana in the fourth degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
Officers also charged Lawhorn with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and criminal possession of marijuana.
Robinson is being held in the Monroe County Jail without bail. Lawhorn was released under the new bail reform laws.
