ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Curriculum is changing in Monroe County to teach students about Rochester's history with issues of equity and social justice.

The classroom lessons are being crafted by the University of Rochester's Warner School with school districts and community partners. 

It will be implemented in Monroe County classrooms as early as this spring.

It's beginning with grades 8, 11 and 12 along with U.S. history and New York State standards.
