ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A vacant home was demolished in a fire overnight.

The fire happened on Saratoga Avenue just after midnight Tuesday morning.

Fire crews say the flames started in the back but they were able to contain the flames from spreading to neighboring homes.

News10NBC was told the home was the scene of a previous fire in December. Firefighters say the damage from the December fire caused some challenges in fighting this one due to holes in the floor.

No one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
