ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Wegmans is closing its Monroe County stores early Sunday for the 9 p.m. curfew.

In a statement Sunday, the company said all stores in the county will be closed by 9 p.m.

On Saturday, all Wegmans stores in Monroe County were closed due to the curfew put in place in reaction to destruction and looting in the City of Rochester.

Both Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren and Monroe County Executive Adam Bello instituted curfews beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday, then implemented the curfews again Sunday.

The curfew will be lifted at 7 a.m. Monday in the City of Rochester and the Town of Greece, and 6 a.m. Monday for the rest of the county.
