Pet of the Week: Boss

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Boss is a handsome senior citizen who refuses to act his age. He is ready to go at the drop of a hat, or the opening of his kennel door!

This black and white dappled dog is eight years old and was found as a stray in the city. He weighs 64 pounds and is very treat motivated.

He must be the only dog in your home as he feels the need to live up to his name. Ruler of his kingdom, Grand Poobah, he thinks all those titles fit him perfectly! Older children is the suggestion as he is strong and very active.

With his grey muzzle and warm brown eyes he looks to be a good snuggle dog once he is totally feeling secure and loved in his new home. This will take time and patience on the part of his new owner, but the reward will be worth it!

Boss is another dog available in the Seniors-for-Seniors program. Approved adopters age 60 or older can adopt him at no fee.
