ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— We've got some light drizzle and snow overnight into this morning combined with temps in the low 30s has allowed a few icy spots to develop. Most roads seem to be just fine, but watch your step outside.
Temps should climb above freezing by 9-10 a.m., and the rest of the day will be fine, with mostly cloudy and dry weather. Tonight we will need to monitor the temps once again as a little light precip may develop towards tomorrow morning with readings close to freezing. A few slick spots are possible Thursday morning as well.
After that, it looks mild on Friday out ahead of a cold front that will arrive later in the day with some rain to snow, as temps drop Friday night into the weekend. It'll be breezy and colder with snow showers and local lake flakes this weekend into much of next week.
At this time, no significant snow is in the forecast anytime soon. Will that ever change this winter? Perhaps later this month into the start of February, a harsher winter pattern will try to develop.
