ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Today started off dry and chilly with temperatures in the upper 20s to near 30. Moisture is moving in this morning and will start off as wet snow. We'll see a brief period (a few hours) of wet snow, that will accumulate a trace to an inch on grassy surfaces. Any accumulation won't last long as temperatures will climb just enough to see a changeover to a cold rain through the afternoon.
Monday will feature light lake effect rain/snow showers. No accumulation is expected. Tuesday morning will bring lake effect snow showers with sunshine breaking out through the day. It will be chilly with highs in the 30s. Another wave of low pressure will spread some rain back into the area again on Wednesday, but it still looks like this will move out again by Thursday. This should leave us with a dry and seasonable Thanksgiving, with highs near 50.
