My love for weather started at a young age, and like many, it’s usually one event that sparks the passion. For me, it was when I first experienced thundersnow! When I was in middle school, a powerful blizzard stalled off the coast of Long Island, and that night I experienced thundersnow for the first time.
I was born in the Bronx, New York, but lived in Monroe, New York, my entire life. I graduated from Monroe-Woodbury High School in 2015 and pursued an education in meteorology at SUNY Oswego. I received my BS in Atmospheric Science with a mathematics minor in May 2019.
Through my years at Oswego, I was part of WTOP-10, which was our student-run television station. The experience there helped me move on after college to work in Elmira, New York, for WENY-TV. I started there as the weekend meteorologist before moving over to a weekday meteorologist in November 2020. Then in May 2021, I found myself accepting a job to work here at WHEC-TV!
