BRIGHTON, N.Y. (WHEC) — News10NBC has crews all over the Rochester area covering the snowstorm that prompted out First Alert Weather Team to declare a Red Alert.

News10NBC Chief Investigative Reporter Berkeley Brean was stationed at 12 Corners in Brighton, the crossroads of the town.

Brean got in the car Monday morning, strapped the camera up on the windshield, hit record and started to drive through the neighborhoods at a time of day when the road is normally packed with people trying to get to URMC on Elmwood Avenue.

Brean spotted a husband and wife trying to get out of their driveway and get to a physical therapy appointment.

Brean: "How is this morning going for you?

Lance Lund, Brighton: "Good, good, not too bad. I don’t know about another 12 hours of it though. It’s affecting our day pretty intensely but I like snow. It’s worth the effort in the morning to get out."

He also went to Monroe Avenue, noramlly an intensely busy street on Mondays. Instead, he saw very light traffic.

Brean is going to do the same thing this afternoon to see how people are handling the storm.
