ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — News10NBC celebrates Black History Month by honoring the people and places that have paved the way for many in the Rochester area.

He graduated from Rochester’s Franklin High School and was a member of the 1964 U.S. Olympic team in the 100-meter dash.

He went on to play in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Redskins.
