MIAMI, FL (WHEC) – Injuries continue to pile up for the already-depleted Bills. Heading into a game in which they were missing their two starting safeties and cornerbacks, Buffalo lost a few more players.

Backup CB Christian Benford (fractured hand), WR Jake Kumerow (high ankle sprain), as well as offensive linemen Tommy Doyle (torn ACL) and Ryan Bates (concussion protocol) are all sidelined.

Head Coach Sean McDermott expects Benford to miss a few weeks while Kumerow is week to week. Doyle is likely done for the year and Bates’ status is unknown.

As for those who didn’t suit up on Sunday (Jordan Phillips, Jordan Poyer, Ed Oliver, Mitch Morse) McDermott has lumped all of their outlooks together by saying, “All those guys are improving. We’re going to take it one day at a time.”
