Flower City Union remain unbeaten with win over Niagara

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Flower City Union improve to 4-0 with a 5-1 win over Niagara on Sunday.
Haato Efune got the scoring started in the ninth minute as Nick Rippe dished the ball left and Efune found the far top corner of the cage. Efune returned the favor in the 32nd minute, sliding the ball to Rodrido De Almeida on a fastbreak to double Flower City’s lead.
The train continued as De Almeida became the distributor for Dylan Rice’s first goal in the first half’s added time. Rice and De Almeida connected again in the second half to give Flower City a 4-1 lead before Gavin Rice scored the game’s final goal.
Jack Hopson won player of the match.
Flower City is back in action on the road on Wednesday and returns home on June 15.
