Victor boys and Canandaigua girls advance to state championship game; other state semifinal results

ROCHESTER, N.Y. Three Section V basketball teams advanced to the state title games on Friday afternoon. Victor boys defeated Brentwood, 56-41 in the Class AA semifinals and Irondequoit bested South Side, 50-29.
In Class AA, Webster Schroeder girls topped Baldwin, 49-39 while Canandaigua took down Manhasset, 55-42 in the Class A semifinal. Waterloo beat Cortland, 73-50 in the Class B semifinal.
