Pittsford skier leaves Section V championships with top time, Alpine Combined Title

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Wednesday was the Alpine Skiing Championships for Girls in Section V.

The meet was held at Bristol Mountain.

Pittsford's Shannon Hughes came away with the top time as well as the Alpine Combined Title.

Victor's Taylor Ashe finished third in this race and also won the slalom.

Both of them, along with many other girls, advance to the state championships in two weeks.
