BUFFALO N.Y. (WHEC)— The Buffalo Bills added a new weapon to the team Tuesday, while also having to go forward without another.
In a dueling move, the team announced it signed 2-time Pro Bowl running back Devonta Freeman to its practice squad, while also placing rookie running back Zack Moss on the injured reserve list. This means he will likely miss the rest of the playoffs.
Freeman saw some snaps with the New York Giants this season, scoring one touchdown across five games. Before going to NY, he spent five seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, where he earned the two Pro Bowl nods, and helped take the team to a Super Bowl appearance. He had previously been placed on IR with an ankle injury in November and was waived by the Giants on Jan.7.

Moss was an emerging piece of the Bills' offense but got hurt on a play in the fourth quarter of Buffalo's close win over the Indianapolis Colts in the wild card round. He was carted off the field.
In his rookie year, Moss totaled five touchdowns, including four on the ground.
Freeman could be added into the mix of running backs behind Devin Singletary.
The Bills take on the Baltimore Ravens Saturday night. Kickoff is at 8:15.
