Bills gear up for first road game of the year

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Buffalo Bills are gearing up Friday for their first road game of the year.

They’ve had plenty of success against the Dolphins in the past and they’ll be looking to keep that up this weekend in hopes of getting that first win.

Buffalo opens as the three and a half point favorite against Miami, a team they’ve beaten in the last five head to head matchups, the recent of which was that 56-26 win last year. With a win, it’ll be the longest streak for Sean McDermott’s squad against the Dolphins since the late 1980s, but he knows this team isn’t one the Bills can treat lightly.

"They’ve got the big, tall guys, then you’ve got the smaller, fast guys, and you’ve got Waddle, who can do — he’s fast, he’s not small, he’s strong, stronger than you’d think, and Dave’s had him a little bit in Alabama there, so, very, very good group," McDermott said. "Explosive and very talented."

The Bills are going for their 7th straight win against an AFC East opponent.
