BUFFALO, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Buffalo Bills will be without a key part of their offensive line the rest of the season. The team announced Friday offensive tackle Cody Ford would be out the rest of the year.

Bills' head coach Sean McDermott told WGR550 radio in Buffalo that Ford injured his knee in practice. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Ford tore his meniscus,  and he's facing three to four months of recovery.  On a Friday news conference, McDermott later confirmed the injury happed on Wednesday.

Ford is in his second year with the team, and he has totaled 22 starts, including 7 games this season.

In another announcement, McDermott told reporters wide receiver John Brown would miss Sunday's game vs. the Los Angeles Chargers with an ankle injury.

The Bills play at 1:00 p.m.
