Bills rebound against Saints, Allen nearly perfect

NEW ORLEANS, L.A. (WHEC) — Buffalo won 31-6 over the Saints, showing an offensive spark and defensive intensity it lacked in last week’s loss against the Indianapolis Colts.

Josh Allen was nearly perfect, completing 23-of-28 passes for a modest 260 yards. He racked up four touchdowns through the air but did have two interceptions.

Allen got plenty of help from Dawson Knox and Stefon Diggs. Knox caught two touchdowns and caught one more pass for 32 total yards. Diggs hauled in seven receptions for 74 yards and a score.

Running back Matt Breida got the nod from Sean McDermott and gave a boost on offense, rushing for 26 yards and adding 29 more through the air along with a receiving TD.

On a sour note, the Bills did lose Tre White to a leg injury in the first half. He didn’t return to the game.

With the win, Buffalo improves to 7-4, making it a tie atop the AFC East with New England.

The Bills host the Patriots on Monday Night Football next week. New England is at home against Tennessee Sunday afternoon.
