ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WHEC) — Day one of Bills rookie minicamp was Friday and for second round draft choice James Cook, it couldn't have come soon enough.

"All the stuff that you practice for and train for over the summer, the fall. I just want it to come out on Sundays," said Cook.

Cook, who's the younger brother of Minnesota Vikings RB Dalvin Cook, is looking to make his own imprint on the league. The Georgia Bulldogs product is fresh off a national championship season where he played in all 15 games, rushing for over 700 yards.

But the Bills are expected to utilize Cook's pass-catching skills out of the backfield. He had career-highs across the board with 27 catches for 284 yards and four touchdowns.

And even though Bills Mafia is still finding out more about the new rookie, Cook's ready to push the NFL Draft aside and get to work.

"I'm a football player. All that drafting and stuff is over now," said Cook.

Rookie minicamp only lasts one more day, on Saturday. After that, and OTAs will take over and give a more in-depth glimpse of Cook and the rest of the Bills newest adds.
