ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WHEC) — Tuesday is the first day of training camp for the Buffalo Bills, but this year will be unlike any camp the team has ever experienced.

The Bills reported to training camp in Orchard Park, no fans are allowed and all they'll be doing is getting tested for the first few days, and that's if they decide to play this year.

Bills defensive tackle Star Lotulelei has opted-out of the season over health concerns. That means he won't play at all for the Bills this year.

He was a starter on a defensive line that was considered a focal point of a tremendous Bills defense.

Lotulelei is the first Bills player to opt-out of the 2020 season. More than a dozen NFL players have opted out of the season so far.

Testing is the name of the game this week with physicals this weekend.

They can begin strength and conditioning work next Monday and likely won't put any pads on until the middle of August.
