KANSAS CITY, MO (WHEC) — As the game kicks off against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium, the Buffalo Bills win the toss and defer. 

After the end of the first quarter, the score is 7-3 with the Bills in the lead. Bills quarterback Josh Allen passed 23 yards with 42 yards and a touchdown. There were eight penalties between the two teams. 

Into the middle of the second quarter, the Bills took the lead with Allen throwing a touchdown to Emmanuel Sanders for 35 yards. 

With nearly two minutes left of the second quarter, the Chief's defense forces a stop and the Bills settled for a field goal. The Bills continue to lead 17-10. 

Reaching the halftime mark, the Buffalo  Bills hold the lead. Josh Allen accumulated 219 passing yards and two touchdowns, as well as 41 rush yards and a touchdown. On the opposing team, the Chiefs' quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, garnered 131 passing yards with a touchdown and 52 rush yards. News10NBC's Jackson Roberts reports 14 straight halftime leads for the Bills, which is an NFL record. 

News10NBC's Glenn Johnson's accurately reported right before halftime that thunderstorms were imminent - and he was right! The game is delayed due to the weather. 

After a lengthy delay due to weather, the Bills are back in action! Bills player Micah Hyde intercepted the ball and scored a touchdown for the Bills, bringing the score to 31-13 toward the end of the third quarter.

Deep in the fourth quarter, the Buffalo Bills score another touchdown, bringing the score to 38-20.

Bills win 38-20 against the Chiefs!
