Carly Mascitti joined the News10NBC team as a sports anchor and reporter in September 2019.

Carly started her career in local television at WMBB-TV in Panama City, FL as a news reporter in January 2017. Three months into the job, she transitioned into sports, where she covered Florida State, University of Florida, JUCO and high school athletics.

Carly's experience also extends into severe weather. She was a critical part of the station’s Hurricane Michael coverage when the category 5 storm hit the Florida Panhandle in October 2018.

She was live wall-to-wall along the coast leading into the storm and continued coverage in the aftermath, hosting hour-long, commercial-free live shows from the most devastated areas. She was also the only local reporter to interview President Donald Trump in his first visit to evaluate the destruction.

Before her time in Florida, Carly worked in Los Angeles on NBC's The Voice in the casting and contestant departments. She also coordinated commercials and produced, wrote, directed and acted in YouTube productions, garnering millions of views.

Carly is a proud Philadelphia native and Temple University graduate, where she earned Emmy nominations in three consecutive years as an anchor and reporter for her work covering top Division-1 athletics.

Carly is also an avid traveler. Before moving to Western New York, she spent a few months traveling in Europe and the United States. She has previously lived in London, where she worked for an international production company, and Rome, where she studied art.
