BUFFALO, N.Y. (WHEC)— COVID-19 testing began Wednesday for the lucky fans who plan to go to Bills Stadium on Saturday to watch the Bills play their first home playoff game in 25 years.

Season ticket holders who were able to get tickets should've gotten an email on how to schedule a covid test outside the stadium. Testing is being done by BioReference, and started around 6:30 a.m., and runs through Thursday.

New York State is using the playoff game as a pilot program for allowing other large events amid the pandemic.

Fans must get tested within 72 hours before kickoff---which is Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Fans who test positive can get a refund for their ticket and parking fee.

The Better Business Bureau warned fans that tickets can not be resold under the state's plan for the event. If you see tickets being resold, the BBB encourages you to report it
