ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Gov. Kathy Hochul Wednesday said the Buffalo Bills stadium study will be released publicly soon.

New York State contracted AECOM, a multinational engineering and consulting firm, for the study.

The company is looking at the costs of both rehabilitating the current stadium and building a new one.

The study is also looking at whether the stadium should stay in Orchard Park, or be moved to Downtown Buffalo.

"It’s ready to be released very shortly,” Hochul said. “So I would say within a few days. I promised transparency, maybe this is a little unprecedented but I wanted that in the hands of everyone but the conversations are going very well."

Since the state will cover part of the cost, Hochul said the stadium will show up as an item in the proposed New York State budget.

A month ago, on Sept. 22, Hochul said the results of the study was going to be released "in the next few weeks".
