ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — There's no shortage of recent history between the Bills and Chiefs.

Last year, they met in the AFC Title Game. Though that didn't go the way Buffalo envisioned, they've got a chance to do what they did back in week 5 at Arrowhead Stadium: Win.

If they're to move on, Josh Allen and the offense will have to replicate what they did last time. Buffalo put up 38 points against Andy Reid's group on the national stage and picked off Patrick Mahomes twice.

At the time, Kansas City was a shell of the team they are now. They've got the fourth-best scoring offense and finished the regular season as one of the better defensive teams in the league.

The coaches have taken note of that and so has the quarterback of this offense.

“They got guys who are playing really well,” Allen said. “Outside, they got a couple of guys that can go get after the quarterback, some smart, savvy guys in the secondary that are playing really good football together right now so we got to be on top of our game, communication-wise, obviously with the crowd noise and we got to make some plays Sunday night.”

The two kick off at 6:30 p.m.

Jackson Roberts will be live in Kansas City on Friday starting at 5 p.m.
