ORCHARD PARK, NY (WHEC) – Last year, the Bills’ 28.4 points scored per game in the regular season was the third best mark in the NFL. Roughly 75% of their touchdowns came via receptions. That’s not surprising when you consider how effective Steffon Diggs, Dawson Knox, and even Gabe Davis were. As it stands now, those three will most likely be the top targets for Josh Allen this season. The question is, who else of the the eleven receivers on the roster now could be an impact player. One veteran wants an eye to be kept on him.

"I feel like a lot of people may have forgotten about Tavon Austin," WR Tavon Austin said shortly after joining the team. He enters his 10th season in the league after playing thirteen games with the Jacksonville Jaguars last year. Outside of then, he’s played in fewer than ten games four of the previous five seasons and hasn’t played a full season since 2019. However, he adds a presence that QB Josh Allen has noticed.

"He’s only been here a couple of weeks. But even in walkthroughs, you know how attentive he is. He’s right behind me, basically listening to the play call, jogging out and standing behind somebody in front of them and going through the play. It’s awesome to have a guy like that who’s been around the league for a long time that people respect so much."
