ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Section V entered the final month of its strangest season Tuesday.

The season was indefinitely postponed at one point and needed the approval of Gov. Andrew Cuomo to even begin. Students also rallied to get the sports they love back with petitions.

News10NBC crews made it out to several games.

In baseball, Irondequoit faced off against Pittsford Sutherland and won 9-5.

Several teams also called in scores, which you can see below:

And in girls lacrosse, Mercy faced off against Penfield and Penfield won 14-13 and Greece faced off against Eastridge, with Greece winning 11-2.
