Senior PGA Championship: Local weekend warrior golfers play a round with the pros

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) -- It is offically day two of the Senior PGA Championship at Oak Hill.

On Tuesday, local weekend warrior golfers had a chance to play a round with the pros.

Naturally, the largest gallery of the day followed John Daly as he rolled around the course.

The shot of the day came from Bernhard Ianger on the 18th hole, chipping in for birdie. We'll see if that carries over to the tournament.

One of the groups featured former U.S. Open champion Corey Pavin. He was also a member of the Ryder Cup team in 1995 and says it's great to be back in Rochester.

One of the greatest honors that can be given to a golfer by Oak Hill is to be given a tree in their Hill of Fame

2008 Senior PGA Champion Jay Haas will be given a tree in the Hill of Fame Wednesday.

Rochester's own Jeff Sluman was honored two years ago.
