SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Syracuse Orange men's basketball team will tip off its 2020 season Friday afternoon, it comes just a week after the program ended its 'pause' due to the coronavirus.

Head coach Jim Boeheim previously tested positive for the virus on Nov.15., and the team put all activities on pause while the coach recovered.

Ahead of the Orange's 3 p.m. season-opening showdown with Bryant University, the team was able to get in some last-minute practice. The team posted pictures Thursday of their return to the Carrier Dome for that practice.

The Orange are coming off an 18-14 record in 2019.
