For the first time since the week of practice leading up to the playoff game last year, players on the Bills defense will look Tyrod Taylor straight in the eyes when they get to the line of scrimmage.
Maybe it's a revenge game for Tyrod or maybe it will be the proof that the Bills need to confirm that moving on from him was the right choice.
Currently, the only fact we know is that Friday's game is week two of the preseason.
But there is an interesting dynamic to this game.
Tyrod Taylor was the starting quarterback in Sean McDermott's first year as a head coach and in that first year the Bills broke the playoff drought.
Tyrod will also be forever tied to Nathan Peterman.
After all, it was Tyrod's poor play against the Saints that led the Bills to give Peterman his first career start.
That didn't really work the way the team wanted, but Peterman is looking forward to seeing his friend again.
