ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — They were in need of a big-time bounce back. The Wings got hammered on Tuesday night and lost by 13 runs, just an old-fashioned butt-whopping.
But they're pros and have to get ready for the next game no matter what the situation may be. Wednesday night the wings continued their series against Buffalo.
"When you get your fanny beat like we did last night, to come back and play as well as we did tonight was a good sign, really proud of the group," said Manager Matt LeCroy. "That was a gutsy performance from our bullpen and much needed."
The Wings won 2-0, it was a bullpen game and the Wings bullpen threw a shutout.
