IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. (WHEC) — Despite college pro days being canceled due to coronavirus concerns, eight local athletes were given a chance to show NFL scouts what they're made of in Rochester on Saturday.

Former pro football player and Gates-Chili grad Bruce Johnson held the event at Irondequoit Sports Complex.

Amongst those participating were Notre Dame's Jamir Jones and Maine's Earnest Edwards.

It was a private event that was not open to the public. The results from the Pro Day will be shared with NFL scouts across the country.
