Two men from Greece face charges after gunpoint carjacking
GREECE, N.Y. — Two men from Greece are facing charges after police say they were involved in a gunpoint carjacking on Sunday.
The robbery happened around 4 p.m. on Denise Road near Hampton Boulevard. Greece Police say the victim was driving to a store when a man pointed a handgun at him and stole his car and belongings. Rochester Police soon spotted the stolen car on Lake Avenue, leading to a chase that ended in a crash.
Police say the suspects tried to run but officers were able to arrest them and found a loaded gun. D’Sean Kelly Jr., 19, and Ezra Sampah, 18, were both charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon, and grand larceny. Both were arraigned in Greece Town Court and taken to the Monroe County Jail.
