Batavia man arrested for sexually abusing a child

BATAVIA, N.Y. – Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 62-year-old Alvin Way of Batavia after an investigation found he allegedly sexually abused a minor over the span of multiple years.
He’s charged with six counts of predatory sexual assault against a child and six counts of criminal sexual act.
He’s being held in jail, and a restraining order was issued for the victim.
