Canandaigua Treaty Commemoration happening Nov. 11

VICTOR, N.Y. — Here is a chance for you to celebrate Native American Heritage Month. The commemoration of the Canandaigua treaty is Friday, Nov. 11.
This year is the 228th anniversary of the Federal Treaty of 1794 that signified peace between the U.S. and the Haudenosaunee.
The event starts at noon at Ganondagan’s Seneca Art and Culture Center in Victor, then goes to the Ontario County Courthouse. You can find more information here.
