Fight between parents prompts lockdown at Rochester school

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A Rochester City School went into lockdown for a short time Friday.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. Officers responded to School 19 on Seward Street for the report of parents fighting.

The lockdown was enacted “out of an abundance of caution,” according to Rochester Police.

Officers broke up the domestic dispute between two parents and the lockdown was lifted.

No one was hurt. Police did not make any arrests.
