ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A big dome of high pressure is centered near the U.S. – Canadian border and it covers thousands of miles.  This the weather feature that has produced rather cool weather, but also the abundant amount of sunshine is expected through the weekend.

In the early evening, look for high clouds or fair skies. Then skies will clear for the remainder of the overnight.  It will be another chilly night with the mercury falling into the lower 30s.  Saturday, after a chilly start, it will turn mild for the afternoon with the high temperature near 61 degrees. Keep the sunglasses handy as the day should bring plenty of bright sunshine.  Sunday may turn a little hazy again, but it will be mild with the high temperature in the low to middle 60s.  Monday the clouds will be rolling-in with a few spotty showers.  The temperature again is expected to be in the middle 60s.  However, the most watched part of the forecast will be Monday evening for our little ghosts and goblins.  Unfortunately, there will be a few spotty showers, but any precipitation should be very limited for the trick or treaters.  We expect it will be mild for this time of the year, as the temperature slowly falls through the 50s.

Heading into the first week of November there is no sign of chilly or stormy weather.  Most of the week will be dry and very mild.  In fact, the temperature could be near 70 degrees by Friday.
