ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A big, sprawling area of high pressure extends from the Canadian Maritimes, across the Great Lakes and into the Tennessee Valley.  This weather feature continues to keep dry and unseasonably warm weather anchored right over Western New York.  However, over the next 24 hours a storm will slowly ride up the east coast, but that should have little impact on Rochester.  Today was the first day of pleasant weather with potentially another four days of beautiful conditions coming our way.

Tonight look for clear starlit skies with the low temperature in the middle to upper 40s.  Sunday will feature mostly sunny skies and there could be some high clouds developing during the afternoon mainly east of Rochester.  This should only dull the sunshine east of the Genesee Valley.  The high temperature will be in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees.  Monday the sunshine continues with the mercury again near 70 degrees.  Tuesday you can expect hazy sunshine with a temperature rising into the lower 70s.  The first chance for any inclement weather is probably not until Wednesday night and Thursday with cooler weather and a few rain showers returning.
