ROCHESTER, N.Y. — We are waking up to mild temperatures for Friday and cloudy skies as changes are on the way today.

A cold front will swing through in the morning with a few rain showers. Cooler and Breezy weather will arrive behind the front.

After starting off in the mid and upper 50s on Friday morning, temperatures will crash into the low 50s and upper 40s, with winds from the northwest between 15 and 25 mph. This means when the sun sets, it could feel a little cooler with it feeling like the low 40s at times in the evening. So, make sure you got the heavier jacket ready to go for any evening plans.

The cooler weather will linger into this weekend, but things will try and improve. A few lake effect rain showers will be possible early Friday along the lakeshore but we will dry out and break out to partly cloudy skies by the afternoon.

It will remain breezy and cool on Saturday with highs in the mid 50s. Highs, under partly cloudy skies, return to near 60 degrees for Sunday before a little more cloud cover on Columbus Day with highs in the upper 50s. Overall though, this weekend will be great for any fall activities locally or out in Buffalo for the Bills game Sunday afternoon.
