ROCHESTER, N.Y. There is breezy and cold weather ahead with a few lake flakes tomorrow night and a more significant storm threat later in the week.

Mostly cloudy, breezy and cold today with just a few flurries in Rochester. Some light lake flakes near and south of 5&20, but any accumulation will be an inch or less with a few inches possible for parts of Wyoming County through the day.

Looking ahead to Monday not much happening through the day but we need to watch a band of snow off Lake Ontario that will try and move south tomorrow night. Some of this snow will impact parts of the 104, eastside and Wayne County.

An inch or two is possible into Tuesday morning. Perhaps a few inches in Wayne County. After that our attention turns to a potentially significant storm to end the week. At this time there is much uncertainty in the track, so it’s impossible to say if it’s heavy snow, rain or a combination of the two.

Stay tuned for updates on that system and the latest on the Christmas weekend weather.
