First Alert Weather: Breezy and drier weather with a couple chilly mornings on the way

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Mostly sunny skies for much of Wednesday is in store with a few fair weather clouds.

The majority of us stay dry but an isolated afternoon shower is possible well south of Rochester. The breeze will pick up today with northwest winds increasing through the day with a few gusts over 20mph possible.

A very dry and cool airmass will settle over the region tonight into Thursday and Friday morning. Temperatures will drop into the 40s away from the lakes and city the next couple of mornings.

A few Southern Tier valleys may see some upper 30s. After a brief cool spell, temperatures will start to head up this weekend into early next week. Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest on how low the temperatures will go over the next couple of nights.
