ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Nice weather with a few clouds is in store for Wednesday. The only issue will be gusty winds in the afternoon.

A few lake effect clouds and an isolated shower is possible for Wednesday night and Thursday morning, before clearing on daytime Thursday.

There will be fair weather on Friday as temperatures climb back into the 80s. Some summer heat and increased humidity will start the weekend. Temperatures may make a run towards 90 Saturday.

We need to watch the timing of a cold front Saturday night into Sunday morning with a possible shower or thunderstorm. The front looks to clear early Sunday for cooler and less humid weather.

Labor Day looks gorgeous with sunshine and temperatures in the 70s. Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest on the timing of the weekend front and also a look ahead to back-to-school weather next week.
