ROCHESTER, N.Y. A much chillier start to our day compared to our last two mornings.

This is thanks to the cooler air that moved in yesterday, and it will sit around for the majority of this weekend. After the chilly start this morning, highs only reach the mid and low 50s later today.

The good news is that we will see plenty of sun this afternoon, but it will come after a few lake effect rain showers early this morning. Not much rain is expected, but light showers will be possible through the morning before drying out this afternoon.

We will also remain a bit breezy today so make sure you got the jacket ready to go when outside. The clear skies and sunshine continue for early tomorrow before clouds increase in the afternoon.

We will try to warm up to near 60 Sunday afternoon, but still below average. There is also a slight chance for a light rain shower late tomorrow, but most are dry.

A better chance for a shower or two will come on Columbus Day. A weak source of energy will move across the Great Lakes and help spur a shower or two Monday, along with mostly cloudy skies. Monday is not a washout, but a few showers will be possible in the morning and afternoon.
