First Alert Weather: Feeling like spring for late October

ROCHESTER, N.Y. It’s a cool start to the day this morning as temperatures are starting in the 40s.

It is light jacket weather early today, but milder weather is once again in the forecast. Temperatures will climb into the upper 60s and low 70s again this afternoon, making for another fantastic day ahead.

Sunshine will also be in place across our region through today as high pressure continues to dominate our weather locally. The wonderful weather will continue through the first half of the week with plenty of sun and mild temperatures before some changes arrive on Wednesday.

A cold front will bring us increased cloud cover and scattered showers Wednesday afternoon and continue into Thursday morning before clearing out late. With this, we will also see a check back into reality as temperatures fall into the upper 50s for afternoon highs into next weekend.

A washout is not expected Wednesday but a few showers and maybe a few rumbles of thunder will be possible throughout the day.
