First Alert Weather: Milder for Tuesday and Wednesday with rain for Thursday

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The weather looks fantastic for Tuesday after some morning clouds clear for lots of sunshine.

A breeze out of the southwest will help to push temperatures into the 60s and 70s for the afternoon. Fair weather is in store for Tuesday night. It won’t be as cold, with temperatures staying around 50.

Wednesday will bring increasing clouds with mainly dry weather and temps again near 70. Rain will be on the increase Thursday. A general soaking rain with about half an inch is expected on average.

We may see a thundery downpour develop with a gust of wind and local areas near an inch of rain.

Temperatures will drop during the afternoon into the 40s and 50s as much cooler air returns for the end of the week. Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest on the rain Thursday and a look ahead to the weekend.
